Dynacare Kasper Medical Laboratories
Dynacare Kasper Medical Laboratories, which performs 95% of all medical test analysis in northern Alberta, and Northwest Territories, relocated its central laboratory and administration offices to an existing retail space in downtown Edmonton, Manulife Phase II. The first floor was converted to medical laboratory space, and second floor will be office space and future laboratory expansion space.
Completed in April 2003 at a cost of $5.4M
Commissioning:
During the commissioning and testing of the new mechanical HVAC systems, the exhaust system performance did not meet the design requirements. Additional testing and system evaluation confirmed two ductwork problems, which once corrected, allowed the exhaust fans and system to perform as designed, meeting the client’s air flow requirements.
