Hemisphere Engineering is providing commissioning services for the NIH 41A Laboratory in Bethesda, MD. This is a renovation of a 2000 ft2 laboratory facility which includes a critical BSL4 suit laboratory.
The lab section of the facility operates under graduated levels of containment to restrict outside exposure to biological material and lab processes, or to isolate those materials and processes from outside contamination.
Hemisphere is responsible for the review of existing conditions, make recommendations for improvements, and commission the high containment systems, and rooms for this project.
