NIAID Integrated Research Facility (Rocky Mountain Laboratories)
Hemisphere Engineering is acting as the commissioning agent for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Rocky Mountain Laboratory in Hamilton, MT. This world-class facility is designed to allow research on known, as well as emerging and unknown diseases.
This facility design allows for the maximum operational effectiveness, efficiency and flexibility to accommodate existing and changing future needs; as well as ensuring a high level of reliability and redundancy to the building mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems to meet the safety concerns of the occupants and the surrounding community. A component of the design will address the need for biological terrorism preparedness. The facility will house BSL2, BSL3, BSL3Ag and BSL4 laboratories as well as lab support and administrative support space.
Hemisphere is responsible for delivering full commissioning services throughout the Design, Construction, and Acceptance Phase.
