Intermediate/ Senior Mechanical Technologist
Hemisphere Engineering currently has several openings for Senior and Intermediate Mechanical Technologists with experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design, HVAC Design or equivalent

Proficiency with mechanical design in AutoCAD

Minimum of 2 years experience in design

ASET membership or eligibility

Competency in English both written and spoken

Working knowledge of building codes in Alberta

Known for commitment to a broad base of projects which include institutional, life sciences and commercial developments, Hemisphere’s Edmonton office is seeking an:
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 10-15 years of Canadian experience in design and construction administration for electrical systems in the design of vertical infrastructure. Knowledge in power distribution, lighting, life safety and security systems for commercial, institutional, life sciences and residential is paramount.
Qualified candidates must be designated as P.Eng, eligible to practice in Alberta. LEED accreditation would be an asset.
The majority of work will be conducted out of our Edmonton office, with some travel off-site to be expected. This work will involve the design, review and approval of electrical systems in vertical infrastructure.
After a 3-month probationary period, the successful candidate will be eligible to participate in the company group benefits plan, which includes health, dental and vision.
Salary is to be determined, based on qualifications and experience.
