We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Edmonton office. In this role, you will use your proven expertise in the design, review and approval of electrical systems in vertical infrastructure. You will also work closely with senior management in handling administrative/financial management functions. You must be capable of leading a major project with relative independence. Your demonstrated leadership and communication skills along with well developed critical thinking and analytical skills will ensure your success with our organization.
The desirable candidate will possess 10+ years Canadian experience in design and construction administration for electrical systems in the design of vertical infrastructure, along with knowledge in power distribution, lighting, life safety and security systems for commercial, institutional, life sciences and residential is paramount. LEED accreditation would be an asset. The majority of work will be conducted out of our Edmonton office, with some travel off-site to be expected.
You must be designated as P.Eng licensed to practice in Alberta. Consideration will be given to candidates with lesser experience or P.Eng from other provinces / states if transferrable to APEGGA.
