Ecole Voyageur
Completed in 2005, the new school contained 14 classrooms, three CTS multi-lab and resource rooms, info server room, woodworking shop, CTS food/cafeteria, drama facility and large gym.
The electrical design utilized state-of-the-art energy efficient ballasts T8 lamps in classrooms. Gymnasium fixtures were equipped with T5 HO lamps. Multi-level local lighting control was utilized for all instructional space.
Special consideration for power outlets were given to such areas as the woodshop, Info Services, CTS multi-lab and science rooms.
Communication systems throughout the school utilized Cat 5e cabling for a number of systems, ie: P.A. sound system and computer networking system. Construction cost - $7.4M.
