Edmonton Law Courts - Large Trial Courtroom
Highly-technical large trial courtroom for 30 alleged gang members whose trial required a courtroom large enough to try all accused at one sitting. (approximately 601 m2)
Project involved creation of a large trial courtroom in the basement of the Court of Queen’s Bench portion of the Edmonton Law Courts facility. A new ventilation system was installed as part of the mechanical renovation work to provide adequate outdoor air to the expected 200 person courtroom. Completed in 2001.
