Guthrie School and DND Learning Center, Edmonton Garrison
The original Guthrie School was demolished, and a new 6100 m2 single-storey facility was constructed. The facility includes thirteen (13) classrooms plus eight (8) portable classrooms for K-9 education, and a “separate” component for the military; an eleven (11) room learning facility to accommodate 15 soldiers per room. The school includes a band room, computer learning center, and woodworking shop. Completed in 2003 at a cost of $7 M.
