Kinsmen Aquatic Center

Hemisphere Engineering designed the original facility in the late 1970’s. The Kinsmen Aquatic Center $5M mechanical upgrade focuses on providing superior air quality for a world class competitive swimming facility. The facility is to be equipped with a 100% outdoor air system with energy recovery to provide maximum air quality. Computational modeling of the air flow in the facility was carried out to optimize air distribution for spectator and swimmers. Estimated at approximately $12M and scheduled for completion in summer 2007.
