U of Alberta Center for Interdisciplinary Science - Phase 2 (CIS)
CIS Phase 2 will be the consolidation of several departments of the U of A’s Faculty of Science. The project is being designed for LEED Silver certification. Total area - 52,248 m2.
The program will include wet laboratories, characterization suites, classrooms, lecture theatres, offices/administration support space. The building will interface with the existing Biological Sciences and Chemistry Bulidings on the U of A campus and will be designed as a “signature building”.
Scheduled for completion in 2009 at a cost of $218M.
