August 23, ‘08 - Row for Kids
Hemisphere Engineering participated in the “Row for Kids” corporate challenge fundraising event, which raises money for the Stollery Children’s Hospital and for the Edmonton Rowing Club’s Youth Rowing programs. For the 2008 event, Hemisphere Engineering was able to match donations for Row for Kids donated by our friends and colleagues, which together amounted to $17, 000 raised for this fundraiser.The Hemisphere team was awarded the Oar of Honour for our fund raising efforts. As an added bonus, Hemisphere achieved 3rd place in race standings among a field of excellent competitors. The event helped build team spirit, camaraderie, and was a lot of fun to do! Congratulations!
We would like to take this time to thank all our staff, friends, and clients who donated to the cause. Finally, thanks to the rowing team who put in much of their time and commitment to support this wonderful event and cause.
