Life at Hemisphere

Sept. 25, 2009 - Annual Chili Cookoff

Hemisphere Engineering held their first ever chili cook off this September. The cook-off was a success with 8 teams entering and all proceeds going to the Gelenrose Rehabilitation Foundation. Our special guest judges included Mary O’Neill from the Glenrose Rehabilitation Foundation, Randy Ferguson from Procura and Hemisphere’s very own John Chomiak, President and CEO.

The winners of this chili contest were “Team Bacon” which included Hemispheres Information Systems Technologist Mike Alexander, and his two friends Morgan Mccullom and Matt Dickenson.

As our first place winners they were entered in the Downtown Business Association’s annual chili cook-off. “Team Bacon” re-created their masterpiece for November 6th competition. A huge thank you to the Edmonton Petroleum Club for letting us use their kitchen to prepare and cook the chili and to Hemisphere for their support.
