University of Calgary Student Housing
The student housing project accommodates 400 students in a single five-storey structure, plus a basement level with service and amenity areas. The project includes a below-grade link that tied into the existing U of C basement circulation system.
Heating is tied to U of C central high temperature hot water distribution, also chilled water is tied to overall site distribution.
Air make-up is supplied from three centrally located systems on the lower service level each complete with cooling, glycol heating coils and humidification. Resident rooms are heated with overhead radiant panels.
Completed in 2000 at a cost of $13.5M.
